As the AB Tasty power user, you will utilize the platform's full potential for agile prototyping, dynamic component development, and sophisticated A/B testing. Responsibilities: - Platform Expertise: - Architect and maintain scalable components using AB Tasty visual and code-based editors. - Keep up to date with new platform capabilities and implement them effectively. - Component & Experiment Development: - Develop custom JavaScript/CSS/HTML for tests and personalized experiences. - Create reusable code templates and AB Tasty widgets for large-scale experimentation. - Implement and manage advanced test logic, including conditional flows and server-side integrations. - Tagging, Tracking & QA: - Ensure robust tagging in collaboration with analytics teams. - Establish QA processes for pre-deployment test validation. - Deploy and maintain feature flags to facilitate agile experimentation and controlled rollouts. - Experimentation Strategy: - Contribute to test ideation and prioritization based on business goals. - Translate hypotheses into technically feasible test implementations. - Monitor and analyze test performance rigorously, generating reports and insights. - Cross-functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with Design UX, Web analytics, and web creative teams to enable experimentation across the customer journey. Qualifications: - 5+ years of front-end development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) in a commercial environment. - Proficiency in customer experience optimization platforms like AB Tasty, Optimizely, VWO. - Experience in creating and deploying custom components using JavaScript frameworks or native scripting within testing platforms. - Working knowledge of DOM manipulation, client-side performance, and browser debugging. - Exposure to Content Management Systems, particularly headless CMS like Contentful. - Familiarity with API integrations, client/server-side web data tracking (e.g., Google Analytics). - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
