Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying creative editing techniques, and producing compelling video content that aligns with our brand and objectives. Key Responsibilities: Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final cuts for social media, advertisements, promotional videos, tutorials, and more. Trim, cut, and assemble footage with smooth transitions and storytelling flow. Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, graphics, animations, and text overlays. Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project vision and style. Ensure final videos are high quality, on-brand, and delivered within deadlines. Stay updated on trends in video editing, content creation, and social media formats. Organize and archive video footage and project files systematically. Handle color correction, audio balancing, and export settings as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. Solid understanding of video formats, frame rates, codecs, and export standards. Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling. Basic knowledge of audio editing and color grading. Creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus): Motion graphics and animation experience using After Effects or similar tools. Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator for basic graphic needs. Experience in editing content for Instagram Reels, & YouTube Shorts. Background in cinematography or camera operation.
