Overall Purpose of the Job The team requires an experienced Digital Signal Processing Engineer to join a small team in support of their goal to deliver communications engineering and algorithmic design projects on time and within budget. Reporting to the project manager the role will cover the contribution to the full software life cycle, including creating high level and detailed DSP designs, developing prototype firmware DSP and sensor processing components using fundamental mathematical analysis, and subsequent debug and integration activities. Key Activities And Accountabilities Work in a safe, responsible and cost effective manner, in full compliance with the company's safety manuals, Quality Assurance System and code of conduct. Work with the project manager to determine scope, planning and scheduling of Digital Signal Processing Chain / Sensor data processing development tasks. Develop ideas, design, and code for Signal Processing Elements of Firmware components used in the Expro range of products centred around communications engineering and sensor data processing. Produce accurate and effective design documentation to support the implementation and test of system components. Ensure the development of efficient and accurate DSP / Sensor processing components utilizing mathematical analysis, coding standards and best practises, to high levels of quality and maintainability in accordance with development methodology and release processes. Attend meetings relating to aspects of the business which require engineering contribution. The DSP components used within the Expro tools and associated equipment items are key to the overall reliability and performance of the communications and sensor processing elements of the systems. The ability to design and implement innovative and reliable signal and sensor processing components form a major part of the DSP engineer's role. Conduct Mathematical analysis of proposed signal processing designs from high level block diagram and DSP architecture analysis through to developing models and algorithms for the communications and sensor processing elements of Expros designs. Generation and documentation of component design Implementation and module test of components and developing frameworks to test DSP / Sensor processing elements Integration of modules and components into the target platforms Ensure adherence to software development processes Job Knowledge And Qualifications A degree in engineering, combined with practical experience of software development, specifically: 1 Good knowledge of Digital Signal Processing and Sensor processing 2 Good knowledge of Mathematical analysis and Algorithm design in communications engineering and sensor processing 3 Desirable Matlab / Comsol experience ( or ability to learn having undertaken Mathcad / Octave / Ansys for communications engineer) 4 Good knowledge of C/C++ in embedded systems 5 Knowledge of developing firmware for microcontrollers 6 Experience of protocol design and implementation over one or more of the following; UART/RS485, USB, CAN, Ethernet]TCP/lP. 7 Knowledge of software design using UML 8 Good written and verbal communication skills 9 Self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of the wider engineering team 10 Desirable: Experience of modem software development methodologies & tools e.g. C++ patterns & meta-programming, static & unit test tools, scripting languages. 11 Experience of small volume high value product development At Expro, we live by our values, People, Performance, Planet and Partnerships. About The Role Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to the first point of contact for the B2B users who call Wipro Service Desk to troubleshoot appropriate end user issues in line with Wipro’s Service Desk objectives ? Do 1. Be responsible for primary user support and customer service a. Respond to queries from all calls, portal, emails, chats from the client b. Become familiar with each client and their respective applications/ processes c. Learn fundamental operations of commonly-used software, hardware and other equipment d. Follow standard service desk operating procedures by accurately logging all service desk tickets using the defined tracking software e. Ensure that the scorecard is maintained as per SoW with respect to TAT, SLA & hits f. Manage all queries or escalate if not resolve as per the defined helpdesk policies and framework 2. Regular MIS & resolution log management on queries raised a. Record events and problems and their resolution in logs b. Follow-up and update customer status and information c. Pass on any feedback, suggestions, escalations by customers to the appropriate internal team d. Identify and suggest improvements on processes, procedures etc ? Deliver No Performance Parameter Measure 1 Service Desk Delivery Adherence to TAT, SLA as per SoW Minimal Escalation Customer Experience 2 Personal Attendance Documentation etc ? ? About The Role Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to work with Application teams and developers to facilitate better coordination amongst operations, development and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes ? Do Align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications Plan and Execute the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain — from planning, coding and building, testing, staging, release, configuration and monitoring Manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirement of the supported software code On-board an application on the DevOps tool and configure it as per the clients need Create user access workflows and provide user access as per the defined process Build and engineer the DevOps tool as per the customization suggested by the client Collaborate with development staff to tackle the coding and scripting needed to connect elements of the code that are required to run the software release with operating systems and production infrastructure Leverage and use tools to automate testing & deployment in a Dev-Ops environment Provide customer support/ service on the DevOps tools Timely support internal & external customers on multiple platforms Resolution of the tickets raised on these tools to be addressed & resolved within a specified TAT Ensure adequate resolution with customer satisfaction Follow escalation matrix/ process as soon as a resolution gets complicated or isn’t resolved Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical/ repeatable issues ?
