As a Tourism Agent based in Mohali, Punjab, your primary responsibility will be to create and offer personalized travel packages to clients. You will be expected to provide expert advice on various destinations, accommodations, and travel options, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients is essential, along with handling travel arrangements such as flight and hotel bookings efficiently. Staying updated with the latest travel industry trends and promotions is crucial to excel in this role. In case of any travel-related issues or emergencies, you will be required to act promptly to resolve them. Meeting sales targets and actively contributing to team objectives are key aspects of this position. Continuous improvement in service delivery through soliciting feedback and undergoing relevant training is encouraged. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a travel consultant or in a similar sales role, with a deep understanding of travel destinations and services. Exceptional customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong sales acumen with a persuasive approach are necessary. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency in utilizing travel booking software and CRM systems is expected, and a Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Business, or a related field would be advantageous.
