Title Senior Consultant Core Banking

As an Intermediate Consultant at Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU), you will operate independently with some assistance to deliver quality work products adhering to Oracle methodologies. Your role involves implementing Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications. With a focus on Oracle Financial Services Consulting, you will be part of a world-leading team providing IT solutions to the Financial Services industry. The FSGBU has a distinguished clientele including top global banks, insurance companies, securities firms, mutual fund companies, and stock exchanges. The solutions offered encompass comprehensive banking applications tailored to address complex IT and business requirements. Joining the Banking Consulting team in the EMEA Region under FSGBU, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technology knowledge and skills to work on Oracle Banking products built on next-generation architecture. In this role as a Senior Consultant, you will be involved in various activities such as development, implementation, and managed service tasks. Your responsibilities will include participating in technical team activities, analyzing business requirements, developing programs, ensuring code quality, and maintaining timely reporting to supervisors. To excel in this role, you should possess experience in end-to-end development, implementation, and support activities related to Oracle FLEXCUBE and core banking products. Skills in software programming, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, Java, J2EE, Microservices, Springboot, JavaScript, XML, Oracle Weblogic, release management, and source control tools are desirable. Additionally, familiarity with banking terminologies, client interaction, and Microsoft Office tools is beneficial. With 3 to 7 years of experience in core banking applications, including 2 years in primary skill areas, you are expected to hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. The work environment may require offshore work and travel to client locations, along with a willingness to pursue Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE Technical certifications. Strong communication, documentation skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment are essential for this role.
