Testing Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in design, execute, and analyze tests to ensure software or hardware products meet quality, performance, and reliability standards, collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scenarios based on product requirements and industry standards. Test Execution: Execute both manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies. Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution. Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, results, and defect reports. Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and other teams to ensure product quality and meet project goals. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any errors and streamline the testing process. Writing Test Procedures: Write up all the details of testing procedures so that quality control technicians can take over routine testing for quality assurance purposes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in Software Testing in Simulation mode & with Hardware Strong understanding of PLC, HMI, Communication protocols. Proficient in testing the functional and non-functional requirements of the product Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as CodeSYS Structured Text, C++, python script and frameworks like Qt. Experience in development of Test cases & other Documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Soft Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Drilling/Mining machine functionality is a plus.
