Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Game Test Engineer to join our QA team. The role involves conducting comprehensive testing of game features, functionality, and performance to ensure high-quality gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying and documenting bugs using standard tracking tools, and collaborating closely with senior team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Role & responsibilities Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality. Execute test cases according to project requirements and deadlines. Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Tester or QA Lead. Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other QA team members to ensure alignment on quality standards. Provide timely and clear feedback on game performance, stability, and user experience. Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews to report progress and raise quality concerns. Assist in creating and updating test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and user scenarios. Stay updated on new testing tools, techniques, and industry trends to contribute to continuous improvement. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing concepts (manual and functional testing). Minimum 1 year Experience in game testing across multiple platforms (mobile, PC, or console). Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, or similar. Ability to write clear and concise bug reports with proper reproduction steps. Proficiency in executing test cases and documenting results effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Flexibility to work in night shifts and adapt to changing project requirements. Passion for gaming and understanding of game mechanics and user experience. The Manual Tester will work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design appropriate testing strategies, and execute tests effectively. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 1 years of experience in manual testing, preferably within the banking domain. CASA, FD, TD, RD, Payment Cheque Book. Strong understanding of banking regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases and documentation. Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. Familiarity with testing tools and automation concepts, even if manual testing is the primary focus. Exceptional analytical and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
