QA Engineer Manual

As a Manual Software Tester, your main responsibility will be to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with the development team to comprehend product requirements, create test cases, and detect and report bugs in the software to guarantee the delivery of flawless products to our clients. You will be involved in test planning and execution by understanding product requirements, developing and executing test cases, and performing functional, integration, system, and regression testing. Your role will also include identifying, documenting, and clearly reporting bugs and issues with detailed reproduction steps and screenshots. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating detailed bug reports in the company's bug tracking tool and following up on reported issues to track their resolution status. Working closely with the development team to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes will also be part of your job. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role, as you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and resolve defects. Participation in daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and testing discussions is essential. You will also need to communicate testing progress, defects, and results to relevant stakeholders. Maintaining detailed records of test cases, test results, and bugs, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for each software release, and assisting in improving the QA process, tools, and techniques are crucial parts of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you should stay updated with the latest trends in manual testing practices, tools, and technologies and continuously enhance your manual testing skills through training and hands-on experience.
