Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Government Tender Assistant to support the end-to-end process of government tendering. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of public procurement processes, excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and the flexibility to travel across regions (up to 25%) for document submission, site visits, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and analyzing relevant government tenders through portals such as GeM, CPPP, E-procurement sites, and local tender bulletins.
  • Prepare and compile documentation required for bid submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tender specifications.
  • Coordinate internally with sales, technical, legal, and finance teams to gather required documentation.
  • Liaise with government departments and tender authorities for bid clarifications and document verification.
  • Maintain a tracking system for ongoing, upcoming, and closed tenders.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders (online and physical), including attending pre-bid meetings if required.
  • Follow up on submitted bids, including communications related to award notifications, clarifications, or contract finalizations.
  • Assist in vendor registration and renewal processes with government departments.
  • Conduct occasional travel (up to 25%) for physical tender submissions, meetings with authorities, or site inspections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in government tendering or procurement support roles preferred.
  • Proficient in English and Hindi; fluency in at least one regional language (e.g., Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement portals and e-tendering procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and document management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external authorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically (approx. 25% of the time).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GeM (Government e-Marketplace) operations.
  • Knowledge of basic contractual and legal terms related to procurement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
