Technical Writer

Experience : 2 to 5 yrs

Education Background : Mechanical Engineering background preferable

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and edit high-quality technical manuals, catalogues, and instructional documents that meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to gather technical information and ensure accurate representation of content.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to company standards in all technical documents.
• Utilize documentation tools and software such as Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, Illustrator, or similar to create and maintain documentation.
• Maintain and update technical documentation as new features, updates, or changes occur.
• Review and validate information to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Work on documentation layouts and designs, ensuring readability and professional presentation.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver within specified deadlines.

Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in technical field (Engineering)
• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in technical writing and documentation, particularly manuals and catalogues for equipment manufacturers, Machinery Manufacturers.
• Proficiency in documentation tools like Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, Illustrator, or other equivalent software
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to simplify complex ideas for a non-technical audience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, with excellent proofreading and editing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently on multiple projects.
• Familiarity with document version control and content management systems is a plus
• Understanding of ISO standards or other compliance requirements for technicaldocumentation.
• Experience in creating multimedia content, such as instructional videos or interactive guides will be added advantage
