Job Description

Position: Industrial Sales Engineer

Location: Delhi/NCR

Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

Experience: 3–5 Years


About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sales, preferably in the boiler or related heavy engineering industry, with hands-on experience in dealing with OEMs, EPCs, and consultants. This role involves both technical and commercial responsibilities, including lead generation, client management, technical consultation, and order closure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate business leads from process industries, OEMs, and EPC contractors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Promote boiler systems and associated products to new and existing clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance and product recommendations.
  • Handle inquiries, prepare proposals, conduct technical discussions, negotiate terms, and close orders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for seamless execution, delivery, and after-sales support.
  • Ensure timely payment collections and maintain healthy receivables.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to develop new business strategies.
  • Take ownership of sales targets and strive to exceed them.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members when required.
  • Travel extensively across the region for customer meetings and site visits.


Candidate Profile:

  • Education: B.Tech/B.E. (Mechanical or related field); MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in industrial/technical sales; prior experience in the boiler or thermal engineering industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in handling EPCs and consultants.
  • Technically sound and commercially smart.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of managing multiple product lines.
  • Willing to travel extensively.
