Description
As a Technical Field Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding turbine installation processes from offloading to mechanical completion. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring strict adherence to SGRE/Client safety standards, troubleshooting on-site issues, and reporting daily progress to the site manager. To make a significant impact in this role, you will be expected to advise on specific tasks within the installation scope, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or system malfunctions, and provide timely solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and sharing knowledge with the installation crew to foster a collaborative environment. Supporting on-the-job training, maintaining logbooks as required, conducting daily risk assessments, and ensuring that all site activities align with technical specifications will also be part of your daily tasks. Engaging in safety audits and enforcing EHS procedures will be essential to maintain a safe work environment. The ideal candidate for this position should possess proven experience in wind turbine installation, a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, attention to detail, dedication to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are also key attributes required for success in this role.
