Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectures for clients.
• Documents system changes and enhancements for quality assurance.
• Builds, deploys, monitors, analyzes and manages applications, virtual servers, and other systems.
• Manages the change control management process of future changes, releases, updates and enhancements of the ERP system
• Collaborates with team members to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Provide end-user training and assists clients with day-to-day issues, problems and questions
• Collaborates with developers, integrators, project managers, and business partners for system enhancements and upgrades
• Provides guidance for system changes and enhancements
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for internal systems and processes
• Work with technical teams to diagnose and correct program issues
• Manage work through Agile tools/methodology, collaborative repositories, issue tracking platforms, and wikis.
• Support critical production systems to ensure stability, uptime and performance.
• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and techniques
• Develop team members by providing coaching and process guidance.
• Create and uphold technology standards, processes, and audit methodologies.
• Obtain one (1) certification in area of technical expertise per year

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in systems engineering with enterprise clients in roles such as, network engineer, network administrator, systems administrator, etc.
• Experience with building and deploying, virtual servers, as well as networking and infrastructure for clients.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure technologies and SQL Databases
• Excellent customer service skills, organization, time management, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for troubleshooting networking issues, database issues, and application performance.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain, F&O or AX architecture, system engineering, and deployments preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft AX2012 preferred.
