Role & responsibilities Lead strategic sourcing efforts for electrical commodities motors, cables, control panels, transformers, VFDs, etc. Evaluate and onboard suppliers, perform technical and commercial evaluations, and maintain robust supplier relationships. Develop and implement commodity strategies aligned with business goals. Conduct market intelligence, cost trend analysis, and track price fluctuations. Execute contract negotiations, commercial terms finalization, and supplier performance reviews. Apply TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) approach in procurement decisions to achieve long-term value. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure seamless integration of sourcing strategy. Drive cost reduction initiatives through alternative sourcing, process optimization, and value engineering. Utilize Excel and data analytics tools to generate insights and support decision-making. Maintain procurement data and documentation in SAP and ensure compliance with internal controls.
