Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Java Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team at Wits Innovation Lab, contributing to the development of innovative software solutions.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and test high-quality Java-based applications using Spring Boot and other relevant frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and maintain large-scale Java applications with complex data structures and algorithms.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

Strong proficiency in Java programming language with expertise in Spring Boot.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is desirable.
Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is an added advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
