Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, data structures, databases, algorithms, Unix/Linux administration, web applications, distributed systems, and network systems is required. Strong analytical and communication skills are also essential. Additional skills that would be advantageous include experience with Sidekiq, Redis, RabbitMQ, frontend technologies like React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, machine learning frameworks (NLTK, SciKit, NumPy, TensorFlow), mobile app development (Android, iOS), understanding of music theory, and proficiency in indoor games like foosball, cricket, badminton, and ultimate frisbee.
