Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and creative Sports Copywriter who lives and breathes sports. You'll be responsible for crafting compelling copy across multiple touchpoints — from social media and digital ads to campaign slogans and branded content — that speaks to fans, fuels conversations, and drives brand resonance. Key Responsibilities: Write high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for sports campaigns across digital, social, and on-ground platforms Develop taglines, captions, scripts, and storytelling concepts for major tournaments and team promotions Collaborate with designers, strategists, and account managers to bring sports campaigns to life Tailor messaging for different sports audiences, ensuring tone and voice match brand guidelines Stay on top of sports trends, pop culture moments, and viral conversations to tap into real-time content Craft copy for athlete-led content, matchday coverage, fan engagement posts, and branded partnerships Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency Requirements: 2–5 years of copywriting experience, preferably in sports, digital marketing, or advertising Strong portfolio showcasing creative work in the sports or lifestyle space A deep understanding of cricket, football, and other mainstream Indian sports Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines A sports fan who understands fan culture, fandom behavior, and brand voice nuances Show more Show less
