Specialist - Architecture

We are transforming the way we support GBS and the wider RR Businesses The Data Analytics and Reporting team has recently brought together specialists from across GBS into a centralised team responsible for data analytics reporting governance and system support As we transform the provision of these services we are looking for skilled and motivated team members to join us as we optimise how we operate As Business Analyst you will work across multiple areas of GBS supporting simplifying processes and capturing business requirements to deliver new andimproved Reporting Analytics and Applications . You will capture business needs effectively along with shaping and scoping ideas ensuring alignment to business strategy working with the chosen delivery partners to translate these into a specification that they can then deliver continuing control and oversight through to delivery . You will work with Senior GBS and Customer stakeholders in developing and delivering the Digital strategy requirements working alongside colleagues to help create applications and reports to meet the needs of our stakeholders and customers Acting as Business Analyst in new Projects interfacing with the customer and technical team to ensure a robust design is agreed developed and delivered whilst ensuring all new solutions are tested and approved before release Key Accountabilities Interface with the customer and technical team to ensure a robust design is agreed developed and delivered Maintain and develop new reports and apps where required or manage the delivery of new reports through the extended team Ensure new solutions are tested and approved before release Maintain an understanding of our data and the associated policies procedures standards Remind and enforce as needed Maintain documentation of processes used in day to day work updating as required Qualifications Experience Adaptability and flexibility to work across multiple systems and software Ability to work and prioritise under pressure working to tight timelines Strong organisational and interpersonal skills ability to interact with stakeholders Ability to articulate the value of new technologies and the benefits they can bring to the stakeholders in our function Has a proven track record of meeting customer commitments and or has supported projectsactivities across a range of Business Management processes Experience of delivering PowerBI reports Behavioural Competencies As RollsRoyce we operate with core values of ABCS and is expected to be demonstrated by the candidates as well Embrace Agility Take pride in your ability to change your mind and your behaviours when you come across new information new ideas and new possibilities Be Bold Believe in yourself and set challenging goals Pursue Collaboration Build teams both inside and outside of Group that bring together a broad range of talents experiences and perspectives Seek Simplicity Resolve to refine all processes to the smallest and most elegant number of steps required
