Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Financial Services domain, particularly in testing buy-side and sell-side Order Management Systems (OMS) and related workflows. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams across global locations and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Experience: 8-12Years Location: Mumbai Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and automated/manual test scripts . Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and workflow testing across various systems. Identify , document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA/Xray , and work closely with developers to resolve them. Participate in Agile/KANBAN development processes, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Provide QA leadership , mentoring junior team members, and maintaining test documentation and best practices. Ensure traceability of test cases to business and technical requirements. Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating test suites into Jenkins and similar tools. Required Skills and Qualification 8-12 years of experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years in Financial Services . Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect life cycle . Experience with buy-side and sell-side OMS platforms , such as Fidessa, CRIMS, EMSX , or similar. Hands-on experience with Java-Selenium , Ranorex , or Tricentis TOSCA for automated testing. Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and familiarity with Databricks for data validation and backend testing. Experience with JIRA/Xray , Agile development methodologies (Scrum/KANBAN), and QA planning tools. Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools for continuous testing.
