Software Engineer-SeviceNow

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT (B.Tech) or MCA qualification to be eligible for this job opportunity located in Pune with a Work From Office arrangement. You must possess 3 to 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration. As a ServiceNow Developer, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions using both out-of-the-box features and custom scripting. You will be tasked with customizing and configuring various ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, and Service Catalog. Developing and maintaining integrations with third-party tools through APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and MID servers will also be crucial. Your involvement in the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design, development, testing, deployment, and support, is essential. Implementing workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and data policies will also be part of your routine tasks. Regular platform upgrades and patching while ensuring minimal impact to users will be a key aspect of your role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including IT Operations, Security, and Project Management will be necessary. You will be required to create and maintain technical documentation such as design specs, test plans, and user guides. Ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and governance processes is vital for this position. To be considered for this role, you should have at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on development experience in the ServiceNow platform. Strong expertise in JavaScript, GLIDE API, and ServiceNow scripting (client & server side) is required. Experience in configuring and customizing core ITSM modules is essential. Working knowledge of ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub is preferred. Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, the use of MID servers, ServiceNow best practices, system architecture, and data model is expected. A good understanding of the ITIL framework will be beneficial for this position.,
