Software Engineer I (Machine Learning)

As a member of the 7-Eleven Global Solution Center team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership and responsibility within specific product areas, contributing to end-to-end solution delivery. As a part of the team, you will be expected to be customer-obsessed, courageous in expressing your views, challenge the status quo, act like an entrepreneur, maintain a can-do attitude, do the right thing, and be accountable for your actions. 7-Eleven Global Solution Center is currently seeking a highly skilled senior AI/ML engineer to design, implement, and deploy innovative and efficient AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Langchain, NLP, RAG-based systems, Prompt Engineering, Agentic Systems, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. You will be responsible for building AI-driven applications and optimizing Langchain, Gen AI, and NLP models for specific use cases. Additionally, you will experiment with different machine learning models, propose feasible solutions quickly, and communicate effectively with leadership. The qualifications required for this role include 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, expertise in Generative AI, NLP, and conversational AI technologies, and experience in building and deploying AI-powered applications at scale. You should also have a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, structured and unstructured data, model evaluation metrics, and business requirements translation into technical requirements. A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is necessary, along with familiarity with Git versioning tools and exposure to the retail industry.
