Software Engineer

You have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to advance your software engineering career as a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking-Wealth Management division. In this role, you will be a key member of an agile team, collaborating to design and deliver cutting-edge technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your responsibilities include implementing critical technology solutions across various business functions to support the firms objectives. You will be tasked with executing software solutions, utilizing innovative approaches to problem-solving, and developing high-quality production code. Additionally, you will create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring that design constraints are met by the software code. Your role will involve analyzing and synthesizing data sets to enhance software applications and systems continually. As a Software Engineer III, you will proactively identify issues in data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture. You will actively contribute to software engineering communities and events focused on exploring new technologies. Furthermore, you will play a role in fostering a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. To qualify for this position, you should have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience. Proficiency in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability is essential. You must also be skilled in coding in one or more languages and have experience working in a corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security is required. Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within various disciplines, such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile technologies, is beneficial. Experience with Pyhton AWS and Gen AI/ML is an advantage. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies.,
