Our development ecosystem: Languages: Java, J2EE, Ruby on Rails Frontend: Node.js / React JS MySQL / PostgreSQL Redis / Memcached ELK Stack (logging) / Wavefront (metrics, monitoring) OpenSearch/Elasticsearch (searching, indexing) RESTful API design Asynchronous messaging / pub-sub frameworks Jenkins CICD, Docker, K8S, AWS cloud, Google cloud GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, OpsGenie you'll spend time on the following: You will take full ownership of the technical aspects of our global technology infrastructure, ensuring that the platform is being used to its fullest potential through designing and building applications around our customer s needs You will Design/Develop/Migrate/Maintain a myriad of platform applications and services in Cloud & Kubernetes environment You will collaborate within the team and outside teams in the organizations to ensure that required business features, high performance and cost effective solution are implemented effectively Build service artifacts, estimate and plan for deployment, coordinate timeline and tasks with project management and teams Improve service stability and performance by identifying critical service specific metrics, setting meaningful alerting thresholds, and automating alerting responses Drive the discussion and decisions on technical topics related to the team s scope Mentor and guide junior team members and unblock them on technical challenges we're excited about you if you have: BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering from a recognised institute 8+ years of industry experience in developing, designing and supporting applications, micro services and troubleshooting internal and external requests / bug reports in distributed environment Strong coding skills in one or more object oriented programming languages like Java, Ruby or C++ Strong problem solving, debugging skills, data structure and algorithms fundamentals Must have experience with REST API based development of micro services, relational databases (MySQL or Postgres), ORMs Exposure to asynchronous messaging platforms like ActiveMQ, Kafka Exposure to reactive framework like play, vertx.io, etc is a plus.
