Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Social Science Teacher to teach History, Geography, Political Science, and Civics to middle and senior school students. The candidate should be capable of making the subject engaging and relevant, while aligning with the CBSE curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and related topics.
• Use interactive teaching methods to foster critical thinking and curiosity.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and evaluate student progress.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Integrate current events and real-world issues into lessons to enhance understanding.
• Assist in school activities, exhibitions, and academic events related to social sciences.
• Maintain proper records and communicate progress to students and parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Previous teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and the ability to make social science interesting and relatable.
• Familiarity with digital tools and smart classroom practices is an advantage.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Saturday (as per school timings)

Remuneration:

Salary as per experience and qualifications, in accordance with school norms.
