SMSF Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented SMSF Accountant to manage the end-to-end accounting and compliance requirements for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, handling SMSF tax compliance, and working closely with auditors and clients. Strong technical knowledge of Australian superannuation regulations and SMSF software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual financial statements and income tax returns for SMSFs in accordance with ATO regulations.
• Manage all aspects of SMSF compliance, including annual audits and lodgments.
• Maintain accurate fund records, including investments, contributions, pensions, and member balances.
• Process fund transactions such as investments, contributions, rollovers, pensions, and benefits.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, and financial planners to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Stay up to date with superannuation law changes, ATO updates, and industry best practices.
• Handle the preparation and review of BAS/IAS where applicable.
• Assist in the preparation of actuarial certificates and liaise with actuaries when needed.
• Support junior team members (if applicable) and help standardize best practices.

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in SMSF accounting
• Proficiency in SMSF accounting software (e.g., Class, BGL360, SuperMate).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
