Demonstrate ability to become an expert in our hosting platforms, Tools and Technologies Demonstrate ability to improve efficiency in and around hosting platforms, Tools and Technologies while maintaining the highest availability and security for managed environments. Demonstrate passion for SRE profession. Responsible for maintaining /documenting support for managed servers and managing Infrastructure as per Business requirements andIT Security policies and governance. Effectively communicate with customers and partners using collaboration tools regarding technical issues Evaluate and research IT Tools & technologies through rapid Proof of Concepts, provide architectural and tactical solutions Ability to generate ideas for new features through innovation and market / industry expertise Help & Transform critical managed services to a fully automated services by leveraging dev-ops approach Engage in cross-company solution development task forces Generate reusable assets, whitepapers, articles around IBM Tools and Technologies, offerings Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Solid knowledge and proven working experience with Hypervisors such as KVM, VMware ESXi and Linux servers in virtualized environments In-depth knowledge of LinuxRedHat, CentOS, and Ubuntu etc. Strong grasp on Redhat Virtualization platforms such as OpenShift and KVM/Openstack environments Strong grasp on configuration management and automation tools, such as Ansible, Shell & Python & PowerShell etc. Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP Familiarity with load balancers, firewalls, etc. And, should be proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc. Preferred technical and professional experience NA
