Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Ensure high availability and performance of applications deployed on
Cloud Foundry (PCF/Tanzu)
.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using
Splunk
, create dashboards and alerts.
Automate operational tasks using scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD best practices.
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident response.
Participate in on-call rotation and drive root cause analysis for production incidents.
Implement and enforce SRE best practices such as SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
Optimize system performance and cost on cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP, if applicable).

Must-Have Skills

Strong experience in
Cloud Foundry (Pivotal/Tanzu)
platform management.
Hands-on expertise in
Splunk
log analysis, dashboards, alerting, etc.
Good scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar).
Sound understanding of
CI/CD pipelines
(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Familiarity with
Linux systems administration
and troubleshooting.
Exposure to
monitoring
,
observability
, and
incident management
practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with other observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with ITIL/Agile/Scrum environments.
