Job Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in driving multiple simultaneous projects to deliver engineering work across the portfolio. You will collaborate with engineering teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the strategies necessary to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities for our customers. Your responsibilities will include planning, executing, and delivering projects related to a known technology, product, or program. You will drive design discussions, provide business context to engineers, and negotiate features and priorities to ensure successful project delivery. Your role will involve building and maintaining integrated project schedules, identifying and managing blocking issues, and ensuring the participation of Control teams from Legal, InfoSec, etc. in the applications development and deployment efforts. Collaboration with engineering managers, securing resources, setting priorities, and establishing delivery milestones will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing project communications, running effective meetings, and articulating scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and mitigations clearly. To qualify for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with five (5) years of experience in a similar role such as a Project Manager, IT Manager, or Software Development Engineer. Your experience should include proficiency in tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Scrum. The ability to work collaboratively, drive constructive discussions, and optimize engineering execution will be essential for success in this role.,
