Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. If you possess expertise in public and private cloud technologies, virtualization, Windows Server environments, and data center management, you might be the ideal candidate for this role. Your strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the high availability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and managing public and private cloud environments such as Azure, VMware, and Nutanix. You will need to optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency, performance, and security. Additionally, configuring and maintaining virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix will be part of your daily tasks. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in virtualized platforms, installing, configuring, and managing Windows Server environments, and monitoring server health to ensure compliance with best practices will also be essential duties. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will manage the Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, encompassing user authentication, group policies, and security configurations. You will configure and maintain DNS for internal and external services, deploy and manage Citrix environments for application and desktop delivery, and implement and monitor antivirus and endpoint security solutions. Furthermore, overseeing day-to-day data center activities, performing capacity planning, ensuring disaster recovery readiness, and managing Azure-based solutions will be part of your role. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and deploying hybrid cloud solutions, leading technical projects, and mentoring junior team members. Providing technical recommendations for infrastructure improvements will also be expected from you.
