If selected, you will be supporting the Distributed and Clustered Compute Infrastructure and Server Services for ~12000 Stores & Clubs and ~500 Distribution Centers across the globe for Walmart. What You ll Do The systems you build are made up of various applications and services that can be simple, complexed and distributed. Extensive hands-on Linux administration experience in an enterprise production environment using Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, Debian, and/or SuSe SLES. Advanced programming/scripting experience (Bash, Python, Golang) Proven experience in automating processes Expertise in configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible) Proficiency in GIT or a similar version control system. Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven experience in virtualization/hypervisors (VMware, Nutanix, etc) Strong problem-solving, analytic, and decision-making skills Docker experience Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and containers (Docker, etc) In-depth server hardware knowledge (Lenovo, Dell, HP) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with ServiceNow & Jira ticketing system. Minimum Qualifications... Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 3 years experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies. Option 2: 5 years experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization relatedtechnologies.
