Senior Staff Test Engineer

As a seasoned and accomplished quality leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity by designing, developing, and delivering the next generation quality automation infrastructure product within the Prisma SaaS team at Palo Alto Networks. This team plays a critical role in providing visibility and real-time security for various SaaS applications, contributing to the overall SaaS security initiatives within the company. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with different teams to achieve the best quality and scale the product to new heights. We are looking for passionate leaders who are experienced in leading and qualifying complex technical architectures from a quality engineering perspective. You should have a strong background in coding and building automation infrastructure from scratch. Your role will involve solving challenging engineering problems, pushing engineering boundaries, and maintaining high quality in terms of engineering practices and code quality. Your impact will include designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable automation infrastructure for Prisma SaaS data security, contributing to testing strategies and quality vision, and working with different teams to troubleshoot and fix customer-reported issues. Additionally, you will mentor and coach team members, collaborate with stakeholders, and foster a culture of engineering excellence and dynamic execution. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 9 years of experience in Software Development in Test. Strong leadership skills, hands-on programming skills in Java & Python, UI testing experience using Selenium/Playwright, and a good understanding of micro-services and complex distributed products are required. Experience with DevOps tools, cloud platforms, queuing systems, and mentoring junior team members is preferred. Prior experience in the Cyber Security domain would be a plus.
