Senior Software Engineer - Back End

You are a Back-End Developer with a specialization in working on server-side components. Your primary focus will be on developing robust and scalable software in Java, designing and creating services and system architecture for projects, and building reusable code and libraries to support applications and future use. Your role will involve collaborating with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and use cases and translating them into effective technical solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software on schedule. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in large-scale system architecture, complex software design, high scalability, and availability optimization. You must possess experience working with server-side components in Java, strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, and a solid understanding of algorithms. A degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is essential. Preferred qualifications include a Masters Degree, experience with open-source technologies such as Tomcat, Lucene, Zookeeper, Kafka, Netty, and NoSQL DBs, as well as expertise in building REST-based APIs, microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge in big data and cloud technologies, Unix/Windows operating systems, networking, and scaling techniques is also valuable. Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial, along with an understanding of code versioning tools like GIT.
