Senior Sales Engineer

The role of Senior Sales Engineer at Markem Imaje involves driving industrial sales by acquiring new customers, developing existing accounts, and generating revenue. Your primary responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, identifying and converting new prospects, and generating leads through various channels such as market visits, service references, exhibitions, and cold calling. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, proposing suitable solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through post-sales support. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be expected to prepare and present quotations, negotiate prices, and close deals effectively. It will be essential to maintain records in CRM, submit visit reports, and provide sales forecasts. You will also analyze sales trends to identify growth opportunities and ensure compliance with company processes and reporting standards. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in B2B industrial sales. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the coding and marking industry. Strong technical understanding of industrial automation and machinery, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office, and the ability to manage key accounts and long sales cycles are key requirements for this role. Personality traits such as being customer-focused, self-driven, goal-oriented, and a team player with leadership potential are highly valued. The role will require extensive travel within the assigned territory, and owning a two/four-wheeler vehicle is preferred. This is a full-time position based in Kerala with day shift hours.
