Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience
• Deep expertise in UI/UX for consumer web and mobile apps
• Background in news, media, content platforms, or social good products preferred
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, prototyping tools
• Strong understanding of accessibility, inclusive design, and user research methods
• Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex workflows into clean, user-centered designs
• Collaborative mindsetcomfortable working closely with founders, engineers, researchers, and content teams

Responsibilities

• Lead design of user flows, wireframes, high?fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Build and evolve a cohesive design system (components, typography, spacing, motion)
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iteration based on insights
• Ensure designs are accessible, responsive, and pixel?perfect across platforms
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation
• Define and track design metrics to measure improvements in usability, engagement, conversion
