Job Description

Job Title: SOC Analyst Organization Name: NEC India Reporting Relationship: IT BU Role Summary: Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ManageEngine). Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security protocols, and incident response. Understanding of malware, phishing, and other attack vectors. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Incident response and reporting. Responsibilities: Monitor security alerts and events through SIEM and other security platforms. Investigate suspicious activity and escalate incidents as needed. Perform initial triage and classification of security events. Collaborate with internal teams to contain and remediate threats. Conduct root cause analysis and document findings.
