Job Description

A Medical Representative (MR) promotes and sells pharmaceutical products and medical devices to healthcare professionals, building relationships and gathering market intelligence. They are responsible for educating doctors and other healthcare providers about their company's products, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Essentially, they act as a bridge between pharmaceutical companies and the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Promotion:MRs inform healthcare professionals about their company's products through presentations, detailing their features, benefits, and clinical data.
  • Relationship Building:They establish and maintain strong connections with doctors, pharmacists, and other medical staff to foster trust and encourage product adoption.
  • Sales Targets:MRs work towards achieving or exceeding assigned sales quotas, contributing directly to the company's revenue generation.
  • Market Research:They gather market intelligence, including competitor analysis and prescription trends, to stay informed about the competitive landscape and identify opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge:MRs must possess a deep understanding of their products, including their mechanisms of action, usage, and potential side effects.
  • Compliance:They adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements in their interactions with healthcare professionals and in the promotion of products.
  • Reporting:MRs provide regular reports to their company on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Territory Management:They plan and organize their daily schedules to effectively meet with healthcare professionals within their assigned territory.

  • Sales and Negotiation Skills:MRs need to be persuasive and skilled in closing sales deals with healthcare professionals.
  • Communication Skills:They must be able to clearly and concisely explain complex medical information to healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
