Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer PE to lead mechanical engineering functions related to fixture design, PLC debugging, project execution, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should have strong interdisciplinary knowledge in both mechanical and electrical domains, with proven leadership and communication skills to handle internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and validate Mechanical Engineering (ME) fixtures for design accuracy, reliability, and manufacturability. Perform PLC debugging and basic programming for automation support. Possess solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems for equipment troubleshooting and enhancement. Prepare technical reports and presentations (PPT) to communicate project updates and findings effectively. Lead and manage engineering projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. Communicate effectively in English to interface with customers and internal teams across regions. Handle asset management including planning, tracking, and optimization of equipment resources. Exhibit strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure with presence of mind. Manage vendor relationships and drive vendor coordination and performance monitoring . Required Skills: Fixture Design & Validation PLC Programming / Debugging Electrical & Mechanical Systems Knowledge AutoCAD/SolidWorks (added advantage) Project Management Vendor Management Technical Reporting & Presentation (MS Office Suite) Customer Handling & Communication (Fluent in English) Asset & Maintenance Planning Preferred Candidate Profile: Previous experience in high-tech manufacturing, industrial automation, or automotive sectors. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendors. Strong initiative, leadership qualities, and strategic thinking.
