Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer with expertise in mechanical component design and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will lead design development, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product excellence and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end mechanical design of idlers, pulleys, and aerospace-grade components and EOT cranes.
• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
• Ensure designs adhere to engineering standards, tolerances, and client specifications.
• Perform design validation and feasibility checks, including FEA and tolerance analysis.
• Work closely with production, purchase, and quality teams to ensure design-to-manufacture alignment.
• Maintain design documentation, including BOMs, GD&T, and revision control.
• Identify and drive design improvements in terms of efficiency, cost, and performance.
• Support client discussions and provide technical input during project planning and review phases.
• Mentor junior design engineers and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,197.40 - ₹65,475.16 per month
