Senior JavaScript Engineer

Location: Remote (Time zone- CST)

Key Skills We’re Looking For

• Expert-level JavaScript (ES6+), especially in DOM manipulation without relying on frameworks

• Experience with VWO, Optimizely, or similar A/B testing tools

• Ability to write, inject, and debug dynamic front-end scripts

• Strong grasp of event delegation, asynchronous operations (AJAX, fetch), and browser rendering

• Proficiency with browser dev tools and debugging scripts

• Deep understanding of CSS selectors, cross-browser compatibility, and browser quirks

What You’ll Do

• Write and maintain JavaScript snippets to modify website behaviour through VWO

• Debug and fine-tune scripts to avoid conflicts and ensure performance

• Collaborate with marketing/analytics to implement and monitor A/B tests

• Ensure seamless rollouts and effective rollback mechanisms for all experiments

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Tag Managers (GTM, Tealium)

• Understanding of UX principles and testing methodologies

• Exposure to CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) techniques
