Job Description

TechnoMile is looking for a Senior Java Microservices Developer. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of enterprise Java microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS API Gateway, and microservices design, along with a passion for delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions and following industry best practices.

The day-to-day:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain microservices-based solutions using core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS API Gateway.

Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across distributed systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Optimize application performance and scalability using proven techniques and cloud-native tools.

Work with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and support containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and suggest innovative solutions to improve application development.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Who you are:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
in backend development with Java and Spring Boot. Strong proficiency in React, core Java, and Spring Boot.
Strong proficiency in
Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, AWS API Gateway, and microservices architecture
. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code documentation, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS).

Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
