Within the HRIS organization, the Org Management team plays a crucial role in enabling Rippling's next phase of scale and innovation. The team's mission is to develop impactful products that empower companies to represent and manage their organizational structures effectively, covering various aspects such as departments, locations, job levels, and reporting lines. Responsibilities: In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to deliver core products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Partnering with design and product management leaders to define and execute the team's vision, strategy, and roadmap, considering both platform and product perspectives - Leading initiatives such as architectural enhancements, improvements in the hiring process, optimizing engineering effectiveness, and managing post-mortem processes - Providing technical leadership in a dynamic startup environment for a diverse engineering team - Mentoring team members, setting expectations, and fostering their growth to handle more significant workstreams confidently - Ensuring high-quality deliverables and promoting engineering excellence through the development and implementation of tools, monitors, and processes across the organization Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess: - 6+ years of experience in building high-performance web applications and systems - An entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for identifying and solving complex challenges in unstructured environments - Proficiency in JS fundamentals, modern frontend stack, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and unit/integration testing frameworks - Track record of improving frontend performance metrics at scale - Passion for developing tools, automation, and AI to enhance developer experience - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar), and databases (SQL/NoSQL) - Solid experience in architecting web applications with complex business logic - Additional experience in areas such as Design Systems, micro-frontend architecture, platform ownership, and observability is a plus Note: Rippling emphasizes the value of in-office collaboration and company culture.
