Role & responsibilities About the Position: 1. Designation - Senior Engineer - Supplier and Customer Quality Assurance 2. Location - Pune Job Description: Safety : - Drive the safety culture within team and on lines and ensure use of PPE by all - Carry out safety audits and liaison with the safety guideline as per the EHS mandate Quality : • Supplier PPM monitoring & control. • Interaction with customer for quality resolution. • Part Divert Process (PDP) List.-Incoming inspection • Maintain Supplier 8D/PPS status.8 D closure within 7 days. • Statistical analysis & 8D for all issues monthly. • Develop and maintain check sheets for PDP parts & PDI parts. • Resolution of Supplier & Inhouse Quality problems from Line and SIPS. • Supplier development. • Carry out Supplier & Inhouse process Audits as per Plan & NC closure. • Raise 8D/PCM on the Supplier & Inhouse for non-conforming parts. • Monitoring 8D status of supplier. • Calibration of equipment. • RTV status. • Monthly Supplier meeting & mom closure. • Display data updation. • Checksheet sign off with supplier. • Fabrication issues closure through JCB Prod & Line QA. Key measures Supplier PPM, 8D status, kaizen, Fab audit for Supplier parts, statistical analysis, RTV status, PQR. Cost: • Drive ideas to reduce inspection cost & meet the department budget People: • Multi skilling of inspectors across QA stations • Dealing with inspectors on day to day issues.
