Project Role : Software Development Engineer Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. Must have skills : Data Science Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Masters degree in Data science, industrial engineering, operations research or a related field & 3+ years’ experience, OR PhD in data science, industrial engineering, operations research Project Role Description: A talented and motivated Requirement Engineer who will work closely with the team responsible for data analytics for manufacturing, business, marketing, and tire performance. Collaborate to develop new ways to analyze and model complex processes using the data available throughout the company and elsewhere. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct DES or other statistical modelling studies focused on plant optimization, network process scheduling and supply chain operations. • Support the development and improvement of DES capabilities & methods to support strategic implementation across multiple departments. • Understand process flows, analyze data, and develop simulation models that effectively represent production systems enable process improvements. • Participate as a team member on various engineering projects utilizing DES to evaluate future state scenarios to assess requirements for capacity, utilization, and resources. • Lead DES projects to build, simulate, and optimize operational process flow models using Discrete Event Simulation (DES) software packages. • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Technical Experience: • 3+ years of experience in Software engineering. • Proficiency in - CPP, Python • Proficiency in DES Applications - FlexSim, Arena, Simio • Strong knowledge in statistical data analysis, operations research, and production systems. Good analytical, programming, and problem1solving skills. • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders while managing ambiguous projects. • Project management skills to assess task effort, manage priorities, and report status.
