Senior Backend Developer

You should have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Python-based development, particularly using FastAPI and MongoDB. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services using Python and FastAPI, developing scalable RESTful APIs, working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis for efficient data management, and collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and AI/ML teams to deliver secure and performant backend infrastructure. Your qualifications should include strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming, hands-on experience with FastAPI, familiarity with MongoDB and SQL databases, and proficiency in building and documenting REST APIs. Experience with Dockerized environments, Git workflows, and backend architecture is essential. Knowledge of asynchronous programming, API security, and backend performance optimization will be key in this role. Good-to-have skills include experience with async/await, integration with third-party APIs, knowledge of WebSocket and real-time backend patterns, exposure to AI/ML pipelines, and basic DevOps exposure. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience delivering production-grade backend services, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
