Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting practices, GST compliance, and hands-on expertise in Tally software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Handle all GST-related activities including return filings, reconciliations, and compliance
• Maintain books of accounts using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of invoices, bills, and vouchers
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and inter-company accounts
• Support internal and statutory audits, and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Monitor inventory accounting and coordinate with store/purchase departments
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis
• Maintain timely vendor and employee payments and handle receivables
• Coordinate with consultants for income tax, GST, and other financial matters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• 6+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Experience in cost accounting and inventory management
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP software is an added advantage
• Local candidate preferred for ease of coordination and understanding of local regulations
• Male Candidate required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
