Purpose of the Role: To lead the business development and volume growth of Tata Motors Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Corporate / Captive customer segment within the assigned territory. The role will focus on strategic customer acquisition, channel partner engagement, and ecosystem enablement (charging, finance, TCO support) to drive sustainable and profitable volume growth . Role & responsibilities : Own and deliver the sales targets for Electric Vehicles and Corporate/Captive customers for the assigned territory. Identify, engage, and convert strategic accounts in captive logistics, B2B delivery, e-commerce, FMCG, infrastructure, and related sectors. Create and execute territory-level EV business plans including financing, charging infra tie-ups, and fleet operations support. Coordinate with Channel Sales teams and Tata Authorised Dealerships for lead conversion and order fulfilment. Engage with Charging Point Operators, Financiers, and Fleet Operators to enable customer onboarding and operational readiness. Facilitate product demonstrations, trials, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) pitches. Monitor competition and market trends and provide timely feedback to HO and Product Teams. Track key sales KPIs, customer satisfaction metrics, and drive post-sale engagement. Preferred candidate profile Graduate in Engineering / Business / Commerce (MBA preferred). 510 years of experience in B2B/Corporate Sales, preferably in automotive, mobility, logistics, or fleet services. Prior exposure to EV ecosystem, institutional sales, or CV domain is highly desirable. Proven track record of developing key accounts and handling techno-commercial discussions. Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders and external partnerships. Skills & Competencies: Strong B2B selling and negotiation skills. Deep understanding of EV technology, TCO models, and infrastructure landscape. Customer-centric approach with ability to craft customized solutions. Analytical skills for pipeline management, funnel forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ownership mindset, self-driven, and outcome-oriented.
