JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Engineer Kore.ai, created to help people work and engage digitally in a simpler and more conversational way, is a pioneer in shaping how intelligent bots interact with the modern via a conversational dialogue. Kore s enterprise grade Bots Platform is the only end-to-end cloud or on-prem PaaS for designing, building, testing and hosting smart, speech-enabled bots for use in any channel, including text and e-mail, in a website or mobile app, and on popular messaging and collaboration platforms such as Facebook, Skype, Slack and Kore s own Messaging app. You can find full press coverage athttps://kore.com/press/ POSITION / TITLE: SALES ENGINEER He/ She will be responsible for the technical relationships with prospects and will work internally with sales and product development to identify and communicate solutions to meet customer business needs. The Solutions Engineer is a resource for the sales division. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct sales meetings and deliver sales presentations that demonstrate Kore product either online or in person with qualified prospects with the Account Manager. Effectively articulate Kore platform features & differentiators to prospects and help them understand the technical value and benefits of the solution. Clearly articulate value of Kore offerings to audiences ranging from CxOs to Engineers. Provide hands-on deep technical product walk-through of product features for various technical audiences and address technical questions and overcome barriers of adoption. Help client define an evaluation criteria & demonstrate how Kore meets it. Participate in consultations and/or product capability assessments with prospects. Prepare and deliver targeted PowerPoint presentations product demonstration for prospects. Setup and/or build product demo environments and assets. Assist in delivering proof of concept / pilot projects that demonstrate Kore value. Create proposals and responses to RFI/RFP documents. Conduct solutions workshops with prospects to define business requirements and processes. Be a subject matter expert in the field of messaging, mobile, and cloud to become a trusted partner to the prospect. Develop & maintain relationships with prospects, existing customers, and channel partners. Assist marketing with trade shows, case studies, creating demo scripts, demo videos and white papers. Travel to customer and prospect meetings is expected. The amount of travel may vary each week. We expect the overall 25-50% nights spent on the road. Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the technology industry especially enterprise bots and messaging platforms to stay aware of trends, issues and competition. EXPERIENCE REQURIED At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales or software development or a technical role working with enterprise software systems. MUST HAVE SKILLS Mobility / wireless solutions experience (device manufacturers; network providers; mobile network standards; on device applications; mobile web browser applications; SMS applications). Functional enterprise software integration experience using standard integration protocols such as Webhooks, REST APIs, Web Services, and RSS. Software application development experience - mobile application development experience is a nice to have. Ability to understand enterprise security, encryption and single sign-on capabilities. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Experience communicating with CxO executives, Marketing and other line of business owners, and technical audiences is desired. Proficient with online presentation and training services (RingCentral, GoToMeeting, WebEx, etc). Experience with Salesforce.com or equivalent sales force automation tool. Proficient with Smart Phones: iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry. Proficient with MacOs, Windows 7 or 8, and Linux.
