Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for our eldercare services including daycare, home care, and assisted living. The ideal candidate will have a strong healthcare sales background, excellent relationship-building skills with medical professionals, and experience selling medical equipment such as CPAP or BiPAP devices. This role requires excellent communication, strategic thinking, and a compassionate approach to supporting elderly clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for eldercare services.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, including elderly individuals and their families (especially NRI children), promoting customized eldercare solutions.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to create tailored care packages.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective doctors, hospitals, KOLs, eldercare institutions, and NRI networks.
  • Medical Professional Liaison
  • Establish and nurture relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers to secure referrals.
  • Organize workshops, presentations, and events targeted at medical professionals to highlight eldercare offerings.
  • Serve as the primary contact for medical referrals and maintain detailed records of professional networks.
  • Patient Counseling and Admission Support
  • Counsel patients and families in hospital and community settings about home care, daycare, and assisted living options.
  • Facilitate a smooth admission process with empathy and professionalism.
  • Address client concerns, objections, and queries with patience and clarity.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting
  • Conduct ongoing market research to monitor trends, competitors, and client needs.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and insights on customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design effective promotional campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in healthcare, preferably eldercare services, medical equipment, or large corporate hospitals.
  • Well-established network with medical professionals, including doctors and hospital staff.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex eldercare solutions simply.
  • Empathetic approach towards elderly clients and their families, especially those living away from their elderly relatives.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous sales experience in eldercare services or medical equipment.
  • Experience as a Patient Relationship Manager or Counselor in large hospitals, guiding families through healthcare decisions.
  • Familiarity with the eldercare market in India, including daycare, home care, and assisted living services.
