Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement sales strategy for LAP product to achieve disbursement and revenue targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
  • Drive product penetration in target markets including self-employed, MSMEs, and professionals.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Build, mentor, and manage sales teams, including RMs, ASMs, and DSA managers.
  • Define KRAs and performance benchmarks; ensure timely reviews and performance feedback.

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new channels (DSAs, connectors, digital) for business sourcing.
  • Establish strong relationships with channel partners to ensure consistent lead generation and conversions.
  • Drive cross-sell opportunities with other products of the NBFC.

Customer Experience & Risk Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with credit policies while optimizing approval rates.
  • Work closely with risk, operations, and credit teams for seamless customer onboarding and TAT adherence.
  • Address customer grievances and ensure high satisfaction and retention.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:

    Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Finance.
  • Experience:

    10+ years of relevant experience in LAP sales, preferably with an NBFC or private bank.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams and achieving disbursement targets in LAP.
  • Strong understanding of credit, risk assessment, and market practices in the LAP segment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong network of DSA/channel partners in key markets.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environment and compliance requirements for secured lending.
