Job Description

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new leads, developing relationships with potential clients, and providing technical expertise to support sales efforts. This role will play a critical part in helping our company achieve its sales targets, especially in the manufacturing industry. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company sales.
  • Present and demonstrate product features and technical capabilities to prospective clients
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, showcasing the benefits and features of our products
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions and address client needs.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring terms are favorable for both the client and the company.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
  • Prepare and analyse sales forecasts and reports for management review.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and new product developments
  • Provide post-sales support and troubleshoot any issues to maintain strong client relationships.

  • Time Management:

    Help team members prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively. Set realistic deadlines and ensure the team has the necessary resources to complete their work efficiently.
  • Motivation and Recognition:

    Recognize and reward team members for their accomplishments and hard work. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve their best through positive reinforcement and acknowledgment of their contributions.
  • Problem-Solving:

    Encourage a problem-solving mindset within the team. Foster an environment where team members feel empowered to identify and address challenges, proposing innovative solutions to improve processes and overcome obstacles.
  • Decision-Making:

    Make informed and timely decisions that benefit the team and the organization. Involve team members in the decision-making process when appropriate, considering their input and perspectives.
Qualifications and Experience Requirement
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or related field) or relevant experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales within the manufacturing or engineering industry (Experience in HVAC is a plus).
Knowledge & Skills Requirement
  • Strong technical background and understanding of engineering concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Proficiency in CRM/SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a keen understanding of market trends.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
